I used the recovery socks the second I got home. The previous week I logged over 75miles and that day 15 or more and mostly hills in Boulder CO. In less then an hour I was feeling perfect. I have used almost every brand of compression sock or tight and NOTHING can compare to the SIGVARIS Recovery sock. They breath well, feel great on my feet and I was able to wear normal shoes and go out to eat. My training partner is begging to try these out. I am excited to see what else will be coming out with this company. It was not shocking to see the quality from a company that for 50 years makes only 1 product. The sock design seems to have started at the foot and went up as its like a proper sock. The compression truly works as my feet are usually cold and the socks helped get more blood to my toes in seconds. Most important, my legs were so fresh it felt like I was going to peak the next morning, . I will be wearing them for a very long time after every training session and all flights to races or drives to a course!!

I wore my recovery socks on a cross-Atlantic flight (both directions) in January. Upon arrival to Nice (ie: France), my lower legs which had been comforted in my athletic socks, were bouncier than from previous trips across “the pond.” I also wore my socks for hours while at the finish line for an uphill snowshoe race last weekend and felt refreshed legs as opposed to weary legs and feet from standing long times previously at finish lines. The socks are also great to run in (with shoes on of course). Comfortable, form fitting. These are a must-buy for long flights and for everyday training and racing.

“I have been wearing compression socks for better athletic performance and improved recovery over the last couple of years. The new Performance and Athletic Recovery socks from Sigvaris are absolutely amazing! The socks have helped me increase my running speed and decrease my recovery time. I will be wearing my new Sigvaris socks exclusively during my worldwide event this summer called “Around The World In Less Than 30 Minutes.” From the airplane to the race, Sigvaris will be an essential piece of equipment for me to succeed in difficult conditions.”

I have used compression socks for over 2 years. I originally started using them during my many frequent airline trips. After the flights I noticed the reduced swelling and ability to walk without looking like a duck. I am a 50 something who still thinks he is 20 something and play a lot of competitive soccer. Having used compression shorts for a long time I though it only fitting that the socks be included. My 20 something opponents often ask what is my secret to continued performance and I readily share the story of compression. I am glad to see these available and look forward to the soccer specific compression socks.

Did two similar long runs in the past two weekends (8 milers). Wore my new compression socks after the second run and felt significant less soreness usually associated with these long runs. Thank you and keep up the good work!

I love the athletic compression socks. I feel that my lower leg soreness goes away right as I put the socks on. I recommend these to my recovering plastic surgery patients to prevent clots (if only they would recover from surgery faster with these socks), and then I tell them to wear these when they go work out (after they have fully recovered from surgery). So it really serves a multi purpose. I’ve received many positive feedback about these socks. The sizing system works very well. I believe that a snug sock also prevents blistering. It’s snug but not too snug – just right.

I love my new compression socks! I recently purchased them at an expo for a mini marathon! I had been wanting a new pair that would be beneficial for me. I have been training for half and full marathons and work on my feet all day as an exercise physiologist at a local hospital. I have had problems with edema in my legs since high school. When training for my first marathon last fall (2009), I was experiencing some discomfort in my lower leg. I started wearing compression socks, a generic brand, and TED hose. I found out, at the expo from the Sigvaris Specialists that I should not wear TED hose. I immediately purchased the new compression socks. I was given an explanation how to put them on and I absolutely love them so far! I am really looking forward to trying them out to run in and to see what they can do for me in the long run, literally and figuratively! Thanks so much to those who helped me and encouraged me to purchase these!

I was introduced to the Sigvaris Athletic Recovery Sock about six months ago and I am extremely pleased with the result. As an ex-professional and college hockey player, I only wish these were around when I played. Whether you are a professional athlete trying to get an edge on competition or a person trying to eliminate feeling sluggish from a long flight, I would definetly recommend these socks. Again, I only wish I had these when playing 3 games in 4 nights…

After using your great Athletic Recovery Socks for a few days I find they are superior to any others in many ways. Softer, better fit, absorbent, and all the usual good comments. The most significant advabtage I have found is that the top of the sock has a wider, softer closure which does not cause a deep crease in the upper calf. I always wondered if that restrictive band was counter to the purpose of achieving proper circulation. The new sock fits snugly at the top but no tighter than the compression of the sock itself.

I recently tried the Sigvaris Athletic Recovery socks. The socks are outstanding. I have tried other recovery socks and they seem to fall down to my ankles half way through a run. These socks are comfortable and stay up the entire run. The next day a feel recovered and ready for another run.

I suffer from shin splints and I am now able to increase my mileage without setbacks. There is a noticable difference when I run without them.

I am an avid fan of compression socks and believe that Sigvaris Athletic Recovery Sock delivers the benefits it claims to provide. I am quite happy with how great my calves and shins felt the day after a long run or hard workout and believe it is 100% because of the recovery socks, I was happy with the increased circulation which prevented swollen feet which is a common issue I deal with. And for the price I would highly recommend Sigvaris Athletic Recovery Sock to anyone who was looking for a great compression sock.

I received a pair of these socks from my daughter and love how they feel–no more cramps on my toes or calfs.

I wore the Athletic Recovery Socks to my softball game last night, and I was really surprised by how well they actually work. I am in a league with people I work with, and we are all between ages 27 and 40. I was playing catcher, and my legs usually hurt after squatting down for the whole game on the nights I play that position. I was surprised, that after wearing these socks, I had no pain in my legs after the game, and my legs still feel good today. I am going to recommend them to the rest of the team.

I was in the middle of my taper phase for the 2010 August Ironman 70.3 when I first heard of Sigvaris. I received a pair of recovery socks the day after the race and let’s just say, thank god!

They helped aid in my recovery for the entire day and even that night! I am now in the process of choosing my next pair from the catalog…but this time I am going to purchase the performance socks so I can wear them during and after my future races!!

I recently completed a century bike ride on a tandem with my 9 year old son (day one of a 2 day bike tour). Needless to say, this was a long, difficult century and I knew I’d be moaning and groaning later. I put on my Sigvaris Recovery socks after the ride and wore them the rest of the evening. These socks feel GREAT immediately after a ride, just like a gentle massage. Woke up the next morning for day two of the ride and my legs felt like I hadn’t ridden at all the day before. Thanks Sigvaris!!

I picked up both the performance and recovery socks Saturday morning immediately before I started a 58 mile bike ride in the North Georgia mountains. This was the 2nd longest bike ride I had ever attempted and definately the hardest with over 5000 feet of climbing. I rode with the new performance socks and they felt great. My feet and lower legs were comfortable and felt great the entire ride, including two major climbs including Wolf Pen Gap. Post ride I switched to the recovery socks and wore them for the remainder of the day. I went to bed knowing I was going to be sore the following morning. However, much to my surpirse, I woke up with my legs feeling great! These socks are just amazing.

The Athletic Performance Socks by Sigvaris are incredible. As a runner and someone who rollerblades regularly, I was looking for a product that would enable me to extend my training. The first time I wore the socks rollerblading, I doubled my distance from 10 miles to 20 miles with ease! I did not have any soreness or discomfort.
I was so excited I could not wait to share it with my friends! Now I know what to get everyone for gifts. These socks are truly amazing!!!

Let me start by saying I have never commented on any product ever in my life. I have been dealing with bad circulation in my legs for a long time now. I’ve been training extremely hard as of late for a role in a new film I’m doing and my legs have been killing me. My Sigvaris athletic recovery socks arrived today and all I can say is wow. My workout was insane tonight, and I have never felt better in my life while training. I literally doubled my mileage in running, and felt like I could have gone for 2 more hours if the gym wasn’t closing. This product is the real deal, and I cannot say enough good things about it. Truly amazing.

I use compression socks ALL the time. As a nurse that does 12 hours shifts to running 1/2 marathons to crossfit WOD’s, I love the way my legs feel supported. Nights time cramps and leg fatigue are gone. Compression is the way to go.

Compression socks are great even for exercising at home. During aerobics the socks help increase stamina and allow longer sessions with a quick recovery, no sore muscles! Being in the wellness industry, we know how important it is to maintain an exercise regime, coupled with excellent nutrition. Anything to help baby boomers continue exercising as we age into the 50’s and 60’s is a real asset.
