SIGVARIS is sporting a brand new product, the SIGVARIS Performance Sleeve, designed to complement the popular Athletic Recovery Sock and the Performance Sock.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA – Medically endorsed SIGVARIS is proud to announce the release of the SIGVARIS Performance Sleeve into the U.S. Market. The launch marks the latest addition to the company’s sports compression products for competitive athletes and triathletes.

 The SIGVARIS Performance Sleeve allows athletes to customize their compression by providing ankle to calf compression they can wear with or without their favorite ankle socks. The sleeve features 20-30mmHg of graduated compression, is worn around the lower part of the leg, and is constructed with a waterproof, fast-drying fabric that may be worn on land or in water. The calf sleeve is tightest at the ankle and decreases in pressure going up the leg to help increase circulation during rigorous workouts.

 When an athlete slips on a SIGVARIS sports product, he or she is benefiting from the science behind “true graduated compression” – compression that is strongest at the ankle and gradually diminishes as it goes up the leg. “True graduated compression” helps fight the force of gravity and circulate blood back to the heart and lungs more efficiently. When blood is properly circulated, it provides much-needed oxygen and nutrients to tired muscles that have been, or are being, deprived during a workout. Unlike the SIGVARIS Active Therapy products, many other sports products do not feature “true graduated compression.”

 The Performance Sleeve, which has already launched in Europe, is rapidly gaining popularity among runners, athletes, and triathletes worldwide.
