ATLANTA – SIGVARIS, the global leader of graduated compression garments, announced earlier this year a partnership with the Atlanta Falcons. In addition to partnering with the team, player Michael Turner, 2009 Pro Bowl running back, was named as an official endorser of SIGVARIS’ Active Therapy socks.

SIGVARIS is thrilled to be partnering with the Atlanta Falcons and player Michael Turner, to help the team enhance their performance and speed up their recovery time. The Atlanta Falcons team is being supplied Performance and Athletic Recovery socks for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. The socks are to be worn after games, practices, training sessions and during travel.

A growing trend among competitive athletes and weekend warriors, professional sports athletes are using compression socks during and after performance events to improve their results.

“It’s exciting to see players like Michael Turner of the Atlanta Falcons and Joseph Addai of the Indianapolis Colts endorsing our socks,” says Jonas Thelin, Marketing Director of SIGVARIS North America. “Many other athletes have also tried and are experiencing for themselves the benefits of wearing true graduated compression.”

SIGVARIS created and to provide consumers with information on the socks in the Active Therapy line.
